How would you describe your own personal style?
I never go with the flow, I prefer to dress how I feel is stylish and classy, instead of listening to others or following fashion magazines. If I am comfortable with my own appearance then I am happy.
Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration?
I would have to say myself, because I have my own taste and my own sense of style, however The Daily Shoe outfit inspirations definitely give me great ideas.
Favourite fashion magazine?
I am not big into fashion magazines, but I do like looking through the what’s trending.
What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Boots, boots, boots and scarves, loving jackets at the moment as you can mix and match so much with a plain black jacket and dress it up with different coloured scarves.
What are the 5 shoes you think every girl should own?
A pair of ankle boots, a pair of knee high boots, a pair of mid calf boots (I am definitely a boot fanatic), a pair of stilettos and a nice pair of comfortable flat sandals.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
Your pants or skirt should always match your shoes, I am a firm believer in this even though this rule went out ages ago. I also believe that if you feel comfortable then you look good, you have to go with your own instincts, feel your outfit!
Where do you get your inspiration?
My inspiration comes from how I feel and look, I am always open to new ideas and fashions and will try anything as long as I am happy in myself.
What’s your next fashion must-have?
Mid thigh Christian Louboutin genuine leather boots, love those red soles!Dreadfully expensive but a dream for so long. I would love to own a pair of genuine leather boots that will last for the rest of my life.
Coffee or Tea?
Love coffee first thing in the morning and at night, but tea during the day.
Heels or Flats?
LOVE heels because I am short, but as I am getting older it is becoming more difficult to walk in them. Flats are better but I am a sucker for heels.
Favourite shoe designer?
Christian Louboutin, a close second is Jimmy Choo, Cinnamon and Jean Kelly
How many pairs of shoes in your wardrobe?
40+ (I am a shoeholic). Although the amount of my shoes dwindles during the year as I donate to the homeless.
What is one thing our readers would be surprised to hear?
I do go out to the shops in slippers and I go to the beach in boots, which really irritates my husband, but what can I say, boots are my life!
