How would you describe your own personal style?
Simplistic, colourful and slightly quirky!
Favourite fashion magazine?
Glamour.
What are some of your current fashion obsessions?
Animal prints, they have really taken over everywhere. Shoes, clothes and even accessories, definitely embracing my “Wild” side.
Do you have any fashion rules when putting an outfit together?
I don’t follow the rules, and don’t have any of my own. It’s all about experimenting and trying new things, to see what works and what doesn’t. If you stick to the same basics, you will never discover new combinations, break out of the mould, you will surprise yourself. Ok, I lied, I do have one rule… don’t be afraid of colour!
Where do you get your inspiration?
Websites, Magazines, Fashion shows on TV (“What Not To Wear”, “How Do I Look” etc.), but mostly just from looking what others are doing when I am out and about, love to check out what people are doing with their pieces and how they are putting them together.
What’s your next fashion must-have?
And LWD (Little White Dress), think that white is much more versatile then black and have seen so many stunning LWD’s lately, and have my eye on one in particular, but definitely need to save up for it!
Coffee or Tea?
Neither! Would rather have some Hot Chocolate if it’s chilly outside.
Heels or Flats?
Heels, heels, heels! The only time you will find me in flats is when I am wondering about the grocery store, or lounging at home.
What is your dream job?
Advertising / Copy Writing.
Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn?
Marilyn for sure! Funnily enough, the next question will show you why I love her, she was not afraid to just be herself.
Favorite Quote?
I’m selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can’t handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don’t deserve me at my best. — Marilyn Monroe
Favourite shoe designer?
Internationally, Jimmy Choo (Fell in love watching Carrie wear hers in “Sex & The City”). Locally, Errol Arendz.
How many pairs of shoes in your wardrobe?
Oh now that’s a question and a half. Guessing at least 50…
Black or pink?
Pink. It’s a total obsession, almost as bad as my love for shoes!
What is one thing our readers would be surprised to hear?
My “day job” is a boring little “grey” accountant, however there is nothing “grey” about me… they do say dynamite comes in small packages.
